Experience the thrill of flying in a helicopter! You and your guest will tour Destin and the beautiful Florida coastline during this Scenic Helicopter Flight. Departing from the Destin Airport, you’ll fly over the Emerald Coast and enjoy an amazing birds-eye view of the landscape below - so don't forget your camera.

The fun starts when you meet with your Pilot who will escort you to the state of the art Robinson R44 helicopter. Once everyone is onboard, the Helicopter Tour begins and you will discover firsthand how exciting it is to ride in a helicopter.

The Scenic Destin Helicopter Tour is offered seven days a week, year-round, subject to availability. Flights may be scheduled everyday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

How Long Is It

The Helicopter Tour of Destin includes an 8 mile flight which is typically 10 to 15 minutes of flight time and a total duration of approximately 45 minutes.

Weather

The Scenic Florida Helicopter Tour in Destin may be rescheduled by the Pilot due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What To Wear

Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure.

Your flight will take place on a state of the art Robinson R44 which seats a Pilot and three passengers. The maximum weight of each participant may not exceed 280lbs with a maximum combined weight of 590lbs for all participants.

All participants must have a valid photo ID (passport or driving license). Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions, which are considered unsafe conditions, are not eligible to participate.

You may bring a video or still camera on board the flight.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Question: Will the pilot let me take the controls?

Answer: This is a scenic flight and not a lesson. The pilot will be at the controls the entire time.
Question: My husband and I received this tour as a gift. Can we bring along our 7 year old daughter?

Answer: You can add a third participant for an additional cost, as long as you are under the weight limit.
Question: What happens if there is bad weather on the day of our tour and our flight is cancelled? Will we be refunded?

Answer: Experience Days certificates are non-refundable. If your tour is cancelled for weather you will be rescheduled directly by the service provider.
