Appreciate the serenity and beauty of Pacific Northwest Wine Country as you spend the day with a welcoming and insightful Guide on a Wine Tour. After this full day tour in the rolling valleys of Oregon, you will be an educated wine connoisseur!

To start the tour, your Wine Guide will provide you with an overview of the Willamette Valley including its vineyards, appellations and the geography of this wine producing region. Throughout the day you will visit between three to five wineries where you will gain tips on how to taste, discover how to make, and understand why wine grows so well in certain regions of the world. As you stroll through the serene vineyards of this beautiful Valley, you and your guest will learn the magic behind the cultivation, harvesting, crushing and pressing, and fermentation of the grapes.

The Wine Tour of the Willamette Valley is offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Tours typically begin at 9:00 AM and conclude around 5:00 PM.

The Oregon Wine Tours have a tour length of 7½ hours and a total duration time of approximately 8 hours.

Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this wine tour.

Additional Information

Tours include transportation to the wineries, bottled water, some tasting fees, plus a gourmet wine country style lunch. You will be taken to 3-5 different wineries in the air conditioned comfort of executive vans.

All participants must be 21 years of age or older. Participants should bring spending money as you will have the opportunity to purchase food, beverages and souvenirs on the tour.

Gratuities for your tour guide are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.

Not all tasting fees are included. Excessive public intoxication will not be tolerated and merchants reserve the right to refuse service.

Enjoyed the tour very much. Lots of interesting facts and info about the wine industry and how it works. Very friendly hostess, personable and service minded. Expected more of the tasting fees to be waived, after paying quite a bit for the tour, it ended up being too expensive.

Question: What kind of grapes do they grow in the Willamette Valley Wine region?

Answer: Willamette Valley Wine Country is known for Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Riesling. Tour participants will have the opportunity to taste all five grapes during this wine tour.
Question: My sister is a very 'experienced' wine drinker. I'd love to give her a wine related gift for her birthday. Would this winery tour be appropriate for someone that already knows a lot about wine?

Answer: Whether a novice or expert wine connoisseur, your knowledgeable and friendly Willamette Valley wine tour Guide will cater to the group and be with you to answer questions. Topics include everything from the basics of wine tasting to the geology, geography and history of wine making. No matter what your level of experience is, you'll find this tour both fun and educational!
Question: I would like to purchase this gift certificate for my Aunt and her family to enjoy. Their son is 18 years old, is he able to participate and would I need to buy a ticket for him since he's under 21?

Answer: The recommended minimum age for the Wine Tour is 21. You may purchase a third full-price ticket for their 18 year old son to enjoy the day. However, he would not be able to consume any of the wine served.
