Although everything that you need to know in order to to master mixology will be covered in the class, Alcohol is not used during the class.

This is an interactive hands on class and students will make a full range of drinks under the supervision of an experienced bartender. Students will also learn bar setup, the history of various liquors, how to distinguish between different alcohols and mixers, and how to use all bar equipment.

No experience is necessary.

Question: I'm attending Harvard this year and my brother bought me an Experience Days Certificate for the Cambridge Mixology Cocktail Class as congratulatory gift. What exactly do we learn, a bunch of drink recipes?

Answer: The focus is on learning and understanding the essential skills behind making any alcoholic drink, not memorizing a list of drink recipes. After the class you will have the skills to create your own drinks, not just recreate a bunch of old recipes.
Question: Will they provide proof that I took the class?

Answer: Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the class.
Question: Parking in Cambridge can be a nightmare. Is there any place close to park?

Answer: Yes, there is free parking in Harvard Square.
Question: I am interested in purchasing this for my boyfriend, but he doesn't have any experience other than making drinks for fun. Is that okay?

Answer: None! Those who attend our course usually have little bartending experience, if any experience at all. We teach you everything you need to know to bartend!
Question: I was interested in booking your bartending classes as a christmas gift for my friend. I am 21, however, he is only 20. I was wondering if it was possible for him to still attend if he doesn't drink any of the alcohol--he is just interested in bartending.

Answer: People of all ages are welcome to participate in the Boston Mixology Class. This is an interactive hands on class and students will make a full range of drinks under the supervision of an experienced bartender, however alcohol is NOT used in the class.
