Explore Boston by land and sea during this Pub Tour. This exciting three and a half hour culinary adventure will take you past several of Boston’s famous landmarks and through the City’s oldest neighborhoods where you will savor authentic brews and bites!

The fun begins when you meet your knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. You and the rest of the group will travel by foot through historic Boston neighborhoods to visit some of the City's most historic and icon Pubs. During this scenic Boston Beer tour you will see the ruins of America's first tavern, stop at two of Boston’s oldest taverns and satisfy your taste buds with snacks along the way! You will even get to enjoy a ferry ride across Boston Harbor with views of the Charlestown Navy Yard, USS Constitution, the Bunker Hill Monument and more.

The Taveren Tours of Boston have a tour length of 3½ hours and a total duration of approximately 4 hours.

The Boston Beer Tours take place in all weather conditions.

What To Wear

Dress comfortably in Layers. Flat rubber-soled walking shoes and a small bottle of water is recommended for this culinary adventure. If touring in summer it is recommended to wear sunscreen and bring sunglasses. If touring in the winter gloves and a scarf are recommended. You may also consider bringing an umbrella for those rainy days.

Sam was great!

Boston Pizza and Pub tour

I enjoyed the tour of Boston. Jim, our guide, did an excellent job sharing his knowledge of the history of the city. The pizza was very good and the pubs were old and full of charm. I have already recommended this tour to our friends. Jim also shared some of the other small family owned businesses (bakeries,specialty markets etc.) I am looking forward to going back to visit a few of the markets and one of the bakeries.
