Step aboard the Odyssey of Chicago Dinner Cruise to enjoy an evening of dancing and dining with the Famous Skyline as the backdrop while you explore the variety of atmosphere from one of the three tiers to the next.

As you and your guest board the ship, stop a moment and meet the Captain and crew. Then enter the boat and discover an elegant dining room. While on board you will be served a delicious three course meal, indulge in creative appetizer, entrees, freshly prepared desserts and an array of award-winning wines. After your meal, enjoy a cocktail on the outer deck while gazing at Lake Michigan.

You will cruise along the Chicago Lakefront to the Museum Campus enjoy the world-famous skyline, from the Willis Tower, to the John Hancock Center and the Shedd Aquarium. After taking in the stunning views, head inside to the dance floor and twirl your night away to the music. So whether you live in the Windy City or are a visitor, this Gourmet Chicago Dinner Cruise makes for the perfect evening!

The Gourmet Dinner Cruises in Chicago are offered on select dates, year-round, subject to availability. Cruises begin boarding between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM depending on the day.

Xperience Certificates® are not redeemable for Specialty or Holiday Event Cruises.

The Gourmet Dinner Cruises have a sail time of 2½ to 3 hours and a total duration of approximately 4 hours.

Weather

The Chicago Dinner Cruise may be rescheduled or held dockside by the Captain or the Coast Guard due to severe weather conditons.

What To Wear

Elegant or dressy-casual attire is suggested. Cocktail wear or a dress is appropriate for women. Collared shirts and dress pants are recommended for men. Dark, dressy jeans are acceptable. Casual jeans, t-shirts, athletic shoes or flip flops are discouraged.

Dinner menu upgrades may be purchased by credit card on the night of your cruise. Signature cocktails; domestic, imported and local craft beer; and an extensive wine list are available and can be purchased at the cash bar.

Question: Is the cruise ship wheelchair accessible?

Answer: Yes. The Odyssey has a deck and restrooms that can accommodate most standard-sized wheelchairs.
Question: I am interested in purchasing this cruise for my parents. How many people may be seated at one table?

Answer: Anywhere from 2-10 people may be seated at one table, depending on the total number of individuals on the ship during a given cruise.
Question: Does the menu have vegetarian and gluten free options?

Answer: Yes, vegetarian options are available. Gluten and allergy free products and gluten sensitive menu items can be offered, however the chefs openly handle several allergens throughout the galleys. While precautions are taken to keep ingredients separate, a gluten free environment cannot be guaranteed. The kitchen does not have separate prep surfaces, cook tops or equipment. The chefs prepare and cook in common areas with shared equipment. Any dietary restrictions should be mentioned to your server.
Question: I would like to surprise my brother and his wife with this cruise when they visit us Chicago. What if the weather is bad on the day of our cruise? Will the cruise get cancelled?

Answer: Odyssey will cruise in most weather conditions all year round. Each enclosed deck is climate-controlled and the weather will not affect the cruise. In the case of severe weather conditions or upon the direction of the U.S. Coast Guard, the ship will remain dockside for the length of the event.
Question: I would like to surprise my girlfriend with this Dinner Cruise for our 5th Anniversary. Is wine included with the meal or may I bring a bottle?

Answer: Coffee, tea and iced tea are included in the ticket price. Any additional beverages may be purchased onboard at their cash bar. Unfortunately, guests are not allowed to bring food or beverages onboard.
