I have to say that taking a night out in the city, there couldn't be a better thing to do. From the time you arrive and you are smack dab in the middle of the city next to the Ferry Building I was excited. The lights of SF are so incredible, SF has to be the most beautiful city in the world. Those new Bay Bridge lights were being tested and that is another incredible sight. The food was good and exceeded our low expectations. Most people around us were celebrating and having a good time. It's like a little vacation with good food, music and a beautiful view.

We had a fabulous time. Great food. Good dance music. We haven't done anything like that in a very long time. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Visuals of the SF skyline were magnificent. Although, I admit, I was so busy eating and dancing that I didn't see much of it.

The dinner cruise was great! There were about 70 people on the boat and this made it perfect. More people would have made it too crowded. It is not too often I can afford this kind of treat but it was worth every penny! It was my husband's 50th birthday and the band sand 'Happy Birthday'. We had a very special night. The service and the food were excellent.

The cruise was decent. The food was very good. The crew and servers were very nice. The views were good, but since it's a dinner cruise, it's dark and there really is no view after a certain time. The music was ok. There are two people playing and singing, but they seemed to be having a good time which made it fun. I think paying for non-alcoholic beverages is a little much. The cruise was a wedding present, so it wasn't a big deal to pay a little out of pocket for drinks (and I fully expected to pay for the wine), but I would've been angry had I paid for the cruise and then been asked to pay $3 for two cups of coffee. All in all, a fairly relaxing, good evening.

We had a wonderful time from the moment we boarded until the moment we disenbarked. The crew members were courteous and efficient, the music was great and we enjoyed our meal...not to mention the beautiful views all around us. Thanks for a great experience.

The experience was just average and it was the beautiful views that helped. I did a cruise last Oct. and even since then the food choices and quality has gone down. The live band is dismal with just two people and despite the fact that you have paid a pretty good amount for the evening things like coffee or tea or any beverage is not included. We were dissappointed and would not reccommed it to our friends.

Hornblower Dinner Cruise - San Francisco

It wasn't bad, it just wasn't very good! This is perfect for the tourist family too pooped to shower for dinner, up from Disneyland who wants a spectacular view of the catalog sites of San Francisco. I was trying for an intimate, elegant, special birthday dinner date for my husband's 50th. For the price of over $300, I felt my expectations were reasonable.

The dress code was 'business casual' but too many were in jeans and T-shirts or rumpled shorts and tennis shoes. We were over dressed (me in my LBD, he in his sports jacket). Our 'intimate' seats were in a high traffic area near the exit, the food was nice but institutional, like a what you would get at a hotel conference event, with the same stiff chairs. They announced a couple of wedding annuiversaries, and thanked a corporate group for coming. I was told that they would recognize my husband's birthday too but that never happend.

The views were excellent, service was good, food was fair, atmosphere casual, value for the price is poor. Not recommended for a romantic or sentimental occasion. I would have rated this a good strong 3 except for the poor value/price.
