Discover the sights of Chicago via Segway! These exciting Chicago Segway Tours are the perfect way to explore the City and experience the thrill of riding on a Segway - the revolutionary human transporter!

The fun of this experience gift begins when you meet with your tour Guide downtown at either Chicago’s Millennium Park or Navy Pier, depending upon the tour you choose to enjoy. Upon arrival, you will receive a brief orientation on how to safely ride a Segway. Next you will be equipped with your helmet and your own Segway to use during the tour. Once comfortable and ready to roll, your friendly and knowledgeable tour Guide will escort the group on this sightseeing adventure! Tours to choose from include the Classic Segway Tour, which offers views of the City skyline, Millennium Park, Soldier Field, Shedd Aquarium and the Adler Planetarium; a Sunset tour of the Lakefront, an Art & Architecture where you'll glide along Riverwalk and the lakefront as you discuss the world-famous skyline; or a Tour of Navy Pier.

The Lakefront Segway Tour is offered seven days a week, May thru September, subject to availability. Tours typically departing between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM.

How Long Is It

The Lakefront Segway Tours have a tour length of approximately 2½ hours and a total duration of approximately 3 hours. The first 15 to 30 minutes will be spent on training the group how to ride the Segway.

Weather

The Chicago Segway Tours may be rescheduled by the Guide due to poor weather conditions such as heavy rain or snow, or any other weather conditions which makes for dangerous riding.

What To Wear

Dress comfortably. We recommend that you wear seasonally appropriate clothing, not too loose, and closed-toe shoes are required. Helmets will be provided. Don't forget your camera!

Additional Information

Tour price includes use of an i2 Segway and helmet rental. Participants are required to wear helmets at all times, must be at least 12 years old and weigh between 100 and 260lbs.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe are not eligible to participate. Children must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age or older at all times.

Gratuity for your guide is not included and may be extended following your tour.

Lakefront Segway Tour Review

We had a BLAST! Our tour guide, Jack, was Awesome! He made the tour fun and informative. We absolutely LOVED it and want to do it again. Our group was a total of 10 (including Jack) and that was just about the right size. Any more and it would have been too many. Thanks for a great time.
