Explore Californa's Delta during this exciting road trip, with cider, wine, and food tastings. During this three and a half hour tour you'll visit a pear cidery, a picturesque winery and a BBQ taphouse along the scenic waterways of Sacramento.

During this exciting road trip you’ll not only be treated to the spectacular scenery of the waterways and canals that make up California’s famous Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, but you'll also get to taste some of the amazing produce made from the fruit grown alongside its lush, fertile banks. Armed with maps and GPS details, you’ll set off on a culinary road trip adventure to meet your guide at each destination on the tour itinerary. Enjoy private custom tasting sessions of refreshing ciders and refined Delta region wine, paired with gourmet cheese, jams and chocolates in beautiful converted barn and hangar buildings. You’ll tour the scenic estates to learn about the delicious types of fruit grown in the region, and the process of transforming it into popular Delta region cider and wine. Enjoy a rustic lunch of sliders, slaw and mac and cheese at a BBQ taphouse to keep you energized for your day of adventure, while discovering the history and hidden gems of the Sacramento River.

The A Taste of California's Delta Experience Gifts Certificate is valid for 1 participant. The tour will run once a minimum of 6 participants has been reached. There will be up to 12 participants on the tour.

The Food and Drink Tours of The Delta are offered on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays year-round, subject to availability. Tours typically begin at 11:30AM.

The Food and Drink Tours run for between 3 and 3.5 hours.

Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

All participants must sign a waiver before the tour.

Participants will drive their own car from location to location. Maps and GPS info will be provided. Total distance from the meeting location will be approximately 25 miles. There will be minimal walking required. The tour will end at Silt Winery.

The tour includes tasting of 5 ciders, a pint of cider and snack, full lunch and drink pairing, and tasting 5 wines with cheese, jams and chocolate. Dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other allergies may be accommodated with notice.

Masks and hair nets are required for the packing shed tour. Please bring a mask (hairnets provided.)
